Princeton, New Jersey – June 28, 2016:
Happiest Minds Technologies, a next generation digital transformation, infrastructure, security and product engineering Services Company, today announced the launch of their R2M solution to help facilitate seamless migration in part or in whole from RDBMS to MongoDB. The announcement was made at MongoDB World, a global conference taking place in New York City at the Hilton Midtown.
“The relational database has been the pillar of enterprise data management for more than a few decades,” said Prasenjit Saha, President – Infrastructure Management and Security Services business of Happiest Minds Technologies. “The growth in data sources and user loads is pushing these databases beyond their limits and the search for alternatives to meet the ever-changing market and data needs is vital. R2M will allow our clients to seamlessly migrate to these new alternatives and enhance the benefits they enjoy from today’s best solutions.”
“For a database that contains simple business logic, migrating from an RDBMS to MongoDB through a manual process is relatively simple,” said Alan Chhabra, MongoDB’s VP of Partners. “Once the business logic becomes more and more complex and complicated, normalized systems are added, a manual migration process can become onerous. An automated migration tool mitigates this manual burden by recommending a new data model, automating the data migration, and reducing the cost of the migration process.”
R2M is built to enable automated migration to MongoDB that’s 40-50 percent easier and faster — whether the user is an expert in database server administration or not. Once migration is complete, the solution facilitates better performance, scalability and ease of management for next generation web applications, data and analytics platforms, advanced operations and maintenance.
