Bangalore: Happiest Minds, a company founded by an IT industry veteran Ashok Soota, has declared the winner of its crowd sourced logo challenge which commenced in May 2011. Out of the 1400 submissions, Jemin Shingala’s logo best reflected Happiest Mind’s business philosophy. The logo created by Jemin was modified by Shristi School of Design and will be unveiled on the day of the launch.
He was chosen by a jury that comprised of eminent members such R. Sridhar, Founder IdeasRS, Geetha Narayanan, Founder-Director, Srishti School of Art Design and Technology, Rukmini Krishnaswamy, Director, Spastic Society and Jessie Paul, CEO, Paul Writer. Ashok Soota chaired the jury.
Commenting on the winning entry, Ashok Soota, Chairman & MD, Happiest Minds Technologies Private Limited said, “The contest has been greatly successful and we had received tremendously creative entries. Short listing a single candidate was a challenge, but Jemin’s entry perfectly suited our company philosophy”.
There were 150 shortlisted logos that were up for public voting from which 25 logos were selected. The jury went on to select 5 appropriate logos that were also vetted by a legal team to avoid duplication.
**Tax deductions, if any, will be deducted from the prize money as per Government of India laws.
