Happiest Minds Technologies, a next generation digital transformation, infrastructure, security and product engineering Services Company, today organized a successful inaugural “Run Miles . Bring Smiles” run. The Happiest Minds Run was organized in the formats of 3 miles and 5 miles at the BBMP Grounds, HSR Layout, Bangalore.
The Sponsors for the Run were Columbia Asia – Sarjapur Road, Global Insurance and 94.3 Radio One and the organisers were Sportzify. The inaugural run witnessed 500 enthusiastic participants across all ages assembling at 5:30 am for registrations. The participants were excited to don the vibrant green T-shirt, and listen to medical advice from Dr. Sai Krishna, Columbia Asia Hospital – Sarjapur Road. Sandeep Agarwal and Ambarish Nigade of Happiest Minds Technologies engaged the team with warm-up exercises prior to the Run.
The run was inaugurated by Sandeep Agarwal, Senior Vice President – IoT CoE, Sharon Andrew – Happiness Evangelist and Kiran Veigas – Program Director Marketing at Happiest Minds, by releasing balloons into the morning sky accompanied by the sound of exhilarating drumbeats.
The run was promptly flagged off at 6:30 am sharp by Hemanta Lenka, Engineering Manager at Happiest Minds who lead from the front as the Run Director.
All runners were felicitated with a finishing medal and certificate and treated to a scrumptious breakfast. The winners were awarded with cycles and wearable devices.
The proceeds from the run amounting to 10,000 Meals were donated to the mid-day meal scheme of Akshaya Patra Foundation.
